(AP) — The New Orleans Saints' 2013 preseason schedule is comprised of four AFC opponents, including a nationally televised game at Houston.
New Orleans' preseason schedule, which was released Thursday, begins with a pair of home game against Kansas City and Oakland, followed by road games against the Texans and Miami.
The game at Houston will kick off at 3 p.m. (local time) on Aug. 25. The Texans and Saints have met in every preseason since 2008.
Dates and times for the games against the Chiefs, Raiders and Dolphins have yet to be announced.
New Orleans' visit to Miami will be its first since winning the Super Bowl there in February 2010.
Also, New Orleans general manager Mickey Loomis says the Saints have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with free agent safety Jim Leonhard.
Leonhard, an eight-year veteran, played for Denver last season. The 5-foot-8, 188-pound former Wisconsin standout has also played for the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets.
Last season, Leonhard played in all 16 games and had one start. He had two interceptions and was credited with 17 tackles to go with a special teams stop and a special teams fumble recovery.
He also returned 15 punts for 89 yards.
Leonhard has started 61 games in his career. He has eight career interceptions.
He has returned 97 punts for 909 yards and returned 13 kickoffs for 274 yards.
And, Saints general manager Mickey Loomis says New Orleans and unrestricted free agents, defensive end Kenyon Coleman and quarterback Luke McCown, have agreed to terms on one-year contracts.
The 6-foot-5, 293-pound Coleman has spent the last two seasons as a starting defensive end in Dallas' 3-4 alignment. He will rejoin new Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, who held the same position with the Cowboys during Coleman's time in Dallas.
McCown, 6-4, 217-pounds, is a former fourth-round selection of the Cleveland Browns who went to training camp with the Saints last season. McCown, a former Louisiana Tech standout, has played in 22 NFL games with nine starts in stints with Cleveland, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville and Atlanta. He has completed 184 of 316 passes for 2,035 yards with nine touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
