Funeral Services for Frances M. McLelland, 89, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013, will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Roseland Park Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., at Roseland Park Baptist Church.
Burial will be Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Garden of Memories, 4900 Airline Hwy., Metairie, La., under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Brother Walt Barnes will officiate the service.
A native of New Orleans, La., she was a Bookkeeper and a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church. Frances was president and owner of the Busy Bees in New Orleans, which was a club that traveled and had lunchens at the Walnut Room in New Orleans, for 30 years. She enjoyed her whatknot store on Highway 11 for over a year after moving to Picayune. Frances loved and adored her felines.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, James T. McLelland; and four sisters.
Survivors include: nephew, Anthony Pigno and wife Barbara; and numerous nieces and nephews in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Detroit, Mich.,
