NICHOLSON, Miss. —
Funeral Services for Allen Paul “Frenchie” Michot Sr., 93 of Nicholson, Miss., who passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013, will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Friday, April 19, 2013 from 6-9 pm at McDonald Funeral Home, and also Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Turtleskin Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Dr. Kent Megehee will officiate the service.
A native of Hessmer, La., he was a Crane Operator for Kaiser Aluminum, Chalmette, La., and a member of Corinth Baptist Church. Frenchie was a POW in WWII and received the Victory Medal for his services. He was also a member of the local VFW.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Clifton Michot and Lillian Michot; his wife, Dora Pittman Michot; and his brothers, Marshall Michot and Uray Michot.
Survivors include: his children, Carol Lee, Norma McQueen, Linda (Glynn) Marks, Allen (Chelsea) Michot Jr., and Susan Langoni; 9 grandchildren: Richie, Sherry, Tommy, Allison, Susan, Sean, Mark, Allen III, and Christi; 9 great grandchildren: Michael, Kristina, Marvin, Dwayne, Anna, Ann Grace, Seth, Kendayl, and Averlee; his brother, Sanford (Sara) Michot; his sister in law, Thelma Michot; and his long time caregiver and friend, Stella Williams.
