James Douglas Lumpkin

James Douglas Lumpkin, 49, a native of Picayune, Miss., Doug was an Electrician. He was an avid hunter when he was able. When his son was younger he was very active in the Royal Rangers. He later became disabled and was unable to enjoy the things he loved. Doug was looking forward to the birth of his first grandson. This was to be a special gift that he will have to love from afar. He was also looking forward to his daughter’s college graduation. He will be with her in spirit if not in person.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Rufus Leroy Lumpkin and Wilda Faye Mitchell Lumpkin; and his sister, Marcia Gail Kellar.
Survivors include: his wife of 29 years, Karen Lynn Wilson Lumpkin; his son, James Nathaniel Lumpkin and wife Brandy; his daughter, Kellie Elizabeth Lumpkin; his brother, Dalton Leroy Lumpkin and wife Rebecca; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no services.
