PICAYUNE Funeral services will be held Friday, October 10, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chaper for Patricia Ann Porter, 60, of Picayune who passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2008 in Lacombe, La.

Burial will be in the Gipson Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of New Orleans, La., she was a personal caregiver and a member of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick O’Grady and Janett May McDonald.

Survivors include: her children: William Compte, Jr. and his wife, Sylvia of Houston, Texas, James Roy Hansford of Kilgore, Texas, Regina Seagle Smith of Metairire, La.; six grandchildren: William “Little Billy” Compte, Kristin Smith, Dale Smith, Jr., Austin Hansford, Bradley Smith and Hunter Hansford; two brothers: Dell Guidry, Jr. of Hollywood, Fla. and Glen Guidry of Hattiesburg, Miss.; four sisters: Helen Holloway of Picayune, Charlene Roberts of Carriere, Martha Hutchinson of Carriere, and Elizabeth Goolsby of Picayune; and her many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, October 10, 2008 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
