Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Floy Haze Pearson, 76, of Leetown, Miss., who passed away Sunday, October 5, 2008 in Hattiesburg, Miss.
Burial will be in the Leetown Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
The Rev. Rico Lee will officiate at the service.
A native of Mississippi, she was a member of Lee’s Chapel #2 Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Archie Lee and Vernice Stockstill Lee; her husband of 53 years, Neville Pearson; and one sister, Pansy Castelin.
Survivors include: her children, Neville A. Pearson, II of Jackson, Miss., Angie Pearson of Leetown, and Carol Kuhlmann of Leetown; her sisters, Virginia Curet of Leetown, and Mary Shoemaker of Hattiesburg; her aunts, Jeanette Walker of Henleyfield; Ardel Lee of Leetown, and Valerie Parello of Picayune; her grandchildren, Shane Kuhlmann of Austin, Texas, Heather Greenwood of Pensacola, Fla., Sterlin Kuhlmann of Petal, Miss., and Regan Pearson of Kiln, Miss.; seven great-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 8, 2008 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
