Jimmie Louise Sims Stockstill

CARRIERE — Jimmie Louise Sims Stockstill, 64, of Carriere passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 6 p.m. at Byrds Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Dabbs officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 26 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Byrds Chapel Methodist Church.

Jimmie, a former resident of Bogalusa, La., moved to the area fifty-five years ago. She was an abstractor for Williams, Smith, and Stockstill and a member of Byrds Chapel Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kendall Lee Stockstill.

She is survived by: her son, Lance Sims Stockstill of Franklinton, La.; two daughters, Leanne Adcox of Franklinton and Kim Ashe of Poplarville; sister, June Ferguson of Henleyfield; five grandchildren and numerous close friends.

Arrangements are by Picayune Funeral Home and Crematory.
