Kirby Vede

CARRIERE — Funeral services will be held Monday, July 14, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Hillcrest Baptist Church for Kirby Vede, 75, of Carriere, who passed away Friday, July 11, 2008 in Hattiesburg, Miss.

Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home of Picayune.

A native of Mansura, La., he was a Boilermaker.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Adelzia Vide and his mother, Volcie Bordelon.

Survivors include: his children, Chris Bourg of Hahnville, La., Delores Brown of Carriere, Kenneth Vede of Picayune, Jason Vede of McComb, Gwyn Goodwin of Gonzales, La., and Sonya Jarrell of Carriere; eleven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two brothers; and his long-time companion, Ann Hunt.

Visitation will be Monday, July 14, 2008 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the Hillcrest Baptist Church.
