Lucenia Smith Neal

— Lucenia Smith Neal, 80, of Slidell, La. passed away Friday, July 3, 2009 at Highland Community Hospital in Picayune.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 7 at 10 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Thigpen Cemetery, under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, July 6 from 6-9 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home.
Lucenia was a lifetime resident of the Picayune area, a homemaker and a member of Leetown Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Stanley Neal; one son, Stanley Norman Neal; one daughter, Theresa Gail Carter; three sisters; and two brothers.
She is survived by: her two sons, Glennis M. Neal, Sr. and Gary L. Neal; daughter, Vida Gaynell Neal; brother, Wendell Smith; sister, Geraldine Spiers; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
