James Horris Pigott

PICAYUNE —
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 10 a.m. in the Harmony Baptist Church in Picayune for James Horris Pigott, 92, of Picayune who passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at his residence.
Burial will be in Flat Top Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
The Rev. Brock Cutre will officiate at the service.
A native and life-long resident of Pearl River County, he was a Supervisor of Maintenance at Crosby Chemical Co. and a member of Harmony Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for over 50 years.
He was the son of the late, J.P. and Nancy Elizabeth Pigott.
Survivors include: his wife, Minnie Rae Pigott of Picayune; two daughters, Nan Elizabeth Scott and Mary Jean Navoy both of Picayune; three sons, James “Bud” Pigott of Foley, Ala., Charles G. Pigott of Guntown, Miss., and Larry T. Pigott of Picayune; 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Lavern Pigott and Vernon Pigott both of Picayune.
Visitation was held Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Harmony Baptist Church.
