— Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2009, at 2 p.m. in St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church for Charles Amiere Quess Gwynn, 3, of Slidell, La., who died Sunday, June 28, 2009 in New Orleans in Children’s Hospital.
The Rev. Dr. Michael Kelley will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Picayune Cemetery under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Home.
A native of Slidell, he is an angel in Heaven now.
Survivors include: his parents, Charles and Niketta Gwynn of Slidell, La.; paternal grandparents, George and Corene Samuel of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Tim and Keta Wiley of Slidell; paternal great-grandparents, the late William Harris of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Barbara Harris of Cleveland, the late George Samuel of Long Island, N.Y. and Mrs. Alice Samuel of Long Island; Charles and Mary Gwynn of Long Island and Barbara Gwynn of Conyers, Ga.; maternal grandparents, Willie and Betty Fortenberry of Slidell; maternal great-grandparents, Manuel and Leola Coleman of Picayune, the late Isaiah Williams of Picayune, and Shirley (Coleman) Williams of Picayune.
Browns Funeral Home of Picayune, 601-798-4469, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 12 noon to 2 p.m.
