Ronald Gene McCrary

PICAYUNE — Dr. Ronald Gene McCrary, 63 of Picayune, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Veterans Hospital, Biloxi.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at 2 p.m. with Father Mike Snyder officiating.

Burial will be at Carriere Cemetery.

Ronald had his doctorate degree in foreign languages. He was a professor at Kent State University in Warren, Ohio. He will be remembered as a great professor, loving son, brother, and friend.

Survivors include his mother, Betty McCrary of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; two sisters, Stephanie and Connie of Excelsior Springs; his ex-wife Delia McCrary of Carriere and a step-daughter, Jennifer Vital of Carriere.
