— Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Ruby O. Tarver, 75, of Picayune, who passed away Sunday, May 18, 2008 in Slidell, La.
Burial will be in the Turtleskin Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune.
A native of Picayune, she was a Housewife and a member of the Flattop Unity Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Eli Frierson and her mother, Nellie M. Wood Frierson.
Survivors include: her husband, Richard E. “Bob” Tarver; two sons, Stanley R. Tarver and his wife Debbie of Sulfur Springs, Texas and Anthony “Tony” Tarver and his wife Regina of Carriere; three sisters, Bernadine Watts of Nicholson, Evelyn Martin and Bertie Penton, both of Picayune; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2008 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
