Charles Noah Babb

PICAYUNE — Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in the Picayune Church of God for Charles Noah Babb, 48, of Picayune, who passed away Thursday, May 8, 2008 in Picayune.

Burial will be in the Haaswood Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune.

The Rev. Dewayne Blackwell will officiate at the service.

A native of Jackson, Miss. and a 1977 graduate of Pisgah High School, he was a Pipeline Welder in the Oil and Gas Industry.

He was preceded in death by one sister: Charity Nadine Checkan.

Survivors include: his parents, Willie Jack Babb, Sr. and Dartiss Babb; one daughter, Ashley Nicole Helms of Sand Hill, Miss.; two grandchildren, Trent Helms and Marcus Helms; five brothers, Willie Jack Babb, Jr. of Picayune, Perry Wayne Babb of Suffolk, Va., Jerry Michael Babb of Nicholson, Rodney Dean Babb of Covington, La., and Daniel Patrick Babb of Slidell, La.; one sister, Angela Babb Bennett of Carriere.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12, 2008 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. in the Picayune Church of God in Picayune.
