— Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 8 a.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy for David Laverne Jenkins, Sr., 48, of Carriere who passed away April 30, 2008.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Denmon Thomas Jenkins; two brothers, Kenneth Jenkins and Claiborne Morgan; one nephew, Thomas Jenkins, Jr. “J.R.”.
Survivors include: his mother, Ida Mae Sander; three brothers, Carly Jenkins, Walter Jenkins, and Thomas Jenkins; two sisters, Sally Walker and Lonna Stockstill; his children, David Jenkins II, Michael Jenkins, Christopher Jenkins, Jesse Jenkins, Krystle Jenkins Ladner and Stephanie Jenkins; and lots of grandchildren.
