Thomas “Tommy” Ellis

The Picayune Item

Pearl River, La. On Sunday, May 4, 2008, Thomas “Tommy” Ellis, 66, passed away at his residence in Pearl River, La.

He was a self- employed floor mechanic and a veteran, serving in the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by: one son, Darrick Williams; one sister, Myra Jenkins; and two brothers, Larry and Richard Ellis.

Mr. Ellis is survived by: his wife, LInda Ellis; five children; Troy Ellis, Tonya Ellis Ramsay, Sam Ellis, Snooter Williams, J.W. Williams; 15 grandchildren, Todd, Kyle, Alex, Erin, Ryan, Katilyn, Kaleb, Norvel, Taylor, Nina, Darrick, Brittany, Kristina, Brent, and Landon; one great-grandchild, Trenton.

He is also survived by: four sisters, Rosemary Hebbler, Faye Jones, Linda Davis, and Kitty Frierson; and one brother, Charles Ellis.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 11 a.m., from the chapel of D.T. Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Hwy. 41, Pearl River.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the funeral home, from 7 until 10 p.m. and on Thursday, from 9 a.m. until service time.

Interment to follow at Hickory Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Inc., Pearl River.
