A state inmate was reported missing from the Harrison County Workshop in Gulfport Wednesday afternoon.
Robert X. Lumpkin, 38, left the site on Lorraine Road at approximately 4:30 p.m. according to the Mississippi Department of Corrections press release.
Lumpkin, a white male, has blude eyes and brown hair and weighs about 150-pounds. He was last seen wearing MDOC state-issued green and white striped pants and a white shirt with "MDOC Convict" printed on the back, according to the MDOC press release.
Lumpkin has multiple tattoos, including a “Yen and Yang”on his left upper arm, “Good” on his right hand and “Evil” on his left hand.
Serving a 12-and-half-year prison term for residential burglary, Lumpkin was charged and convicted in Pearl River County, said Donnie Saucier, Chief Investigator of the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office.
