Veteran's Parade

The Picayune Item

PICAYUNE — VETERANS PARADE — Officials of the Picayune high school Navy Jr. ROTC and the Mississippi Coast Watchers pronounced Saturday’s Veterans Day Parade a success. A large crowd turned out for the parade that began at the high school. Kids who scoffed up the treats that World War II vets threw from the restored WWII and Korean War vehicles that were the highlight of the parade. The MCW restores old war-time vehicles. The Picayune police and fire departments also participated.
