Picayune school board meets Monday

PICAYUNE The school board for the Picayune Municipal Separate School District meets at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the boardroom at the district’s central offices, 706 Goodyear Blvd.

Consider grant re-application for Whole school Initiative by Nicholson Elementary.

Consider accepting grant from Lower Pearl River valley Foundation for Early Head Start health services.

Consider 2009-2010 district calendar.

Consider PMHS dropout prevention plan.

Consider Five-year Local Plan Application for Career and Technology Center.

Consider proposed schedule for PJHS for 2009-2010 school year.

Consider amended budget request for IDEA Part B and Preschool-SPED.

Consider bus turnaround.

Superintendent’s update.

Board members comments.

Consider going into executive session on student discipline.
