The Picayune Item
Potential visitors will sometimes call the Arboretum to ask — what are you all about? What can we do there on a visit? The concise answer to this question is that the Crosby Arboretum is a public garden with several miles of nature trails passing through Woodland, Savanna (grassland), and Aquatic Exhibits. Along the pathways, visitors will see interpretive signage covering various topics, such as the region’s native plants or Piney Woods history and culture.
