Item photo/Ginger Schmidt WELCOME HOME LINDA HARRIS — After putting in 200 hours of sweat equity — literally — Linda Harris excitedly climbs the steps of the Habitat home that officially became hers on Wednesday. A brief and poignant dedication ceremony was held to bless the house for Harris. Habitat’s lead builder, Dennis Collier of Collier Construction, wrote the following tribute, which he read during the event: Historically houses help to establish the uniqueness and individuality of the community. For that particular community has those particular houses with their own character and appearance. With that said, a community retains its identity because of the homeowners.
