Kenneth L. “Kenny Boy” Odom, 56, of Poplarville (Crossroads), Miss., passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Odom was a graduate of Poplarville High School; Pearl River Community College; and was a Diesel Mechanic. A Baptist by faith, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Kenny Boy will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Earl Odom, Sr. in 1987.
Survivors include: his mother, Rose Lee Wheat Odom; three brothers, Robert Earl (Louise) Odom, Jr., Thomas Earl (Judy) Odom, and David Glenn (Jackie) Odom, all of Poplarville; two sisters, Rosemary (W.A..) McCardle of Poplarville, and Beverly (Mike) Amacker of Carriere (Sones Chapel), Miss.; 16 nieces and nephews, 20 great nieces and nephews; and two great great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS 39470 with burial in New Hope Cemetery in Crossroads.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
