Highland Community Hospital is marking the 1 year anniversary of being in their new facility. Last year on Saturday, July 28, the operations of the facility were moved from the old building on Goodyear Boulevard to the new three-story building located on Highland Parkway.
“Our new state-of-the-art facility has been a huge leap forward in delivering high-quality, safe and efficient care to the residents of Pearl River County” said Administrator Mark Stockstill. “We are so proud to be able to share our new home with the community.”
The new Highland Community Hospital has allowed for the growth of services to the area. There are now various specialists seeing patients at the new facility. These include ENT’s, Neurosurgeons and Orthopedists.
The staff of Highland Community Hospital is happy to be celebrating this milestone. “The first year in a new building is always a trying time since everyone has to get used to working in a new environment” said Stockstill. “However, we have worked diligently to make the transition as seamless as possible for our patients.”
Highland Community Hospital is looking forward to serving the residents of Pearl River County for many more years to come.
