The family of Julian Wayne “JW” Roberts, Jr., born May 4, 1951, sadly announces the passing of their dearly beloved son who many knew as “Lulu” on Sunday, April 17, 2016.
Over his extraordinary sixty-four years here with us, he was called many names – Julian, Nu Nu, and Big Poke to name a few – but his favorite title was proud and powerful Carver High Pirate Football Player. His Home-going service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church and viewing will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
As a devoted and loving brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, he will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.
Rest in peace Lulu. We love you and will forever keep you in our hearts. Burial will be in the Picayune Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home, Picayune, Miss.
