Funeral services for Mr. Leonard Vaughn will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church who transition to his heavenly home on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Visitation Services were held on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home Chapel in Pontiac, MI.
Pastor Donald L. Parker will officiate at the services. Visitation will be from 12noon to 1:00 p.m at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Picayune Cemetery.
Leonard was born November 15, 1944 to the late Willis and Zelflee Vaughn.. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Don Taylor; four brothers: Robert Vaughn, Chester Vaughn, Willis Vaughn Jr. and Claude Chambers; six sisters: Lucille Chatman, Patricia Washington, Sylvia Vaughn, Carrie Lee Willis, Carolyn Butler and Thelma Taylor.
Left to cherish his loving memory are his two loving and devoted daughters; Tammy Jackson (Virgil) and Jackie Vaughn (Mike) both of Mississippi; three brothers: Willie Newson of Alabama, Curtis Vaughn (Dorothy) and Tommy Vaughn (Sharon) all of Mississippi; three sister-in-laws, Gladys Vaughn of Mississippi, Margaret Chambers of New Jersey and Marvel Vaughn of Michigan.
