UDATE: Chief Deputy Shane Tucker reported that both persons have turned themselves in, and are currently being held on the charges of tampering with physical evidence.
Pearl River County Coroner Derek Turnage has identified the deceased as 31-year-old Brandon Penry Jr., of Columbia. His cause of death is due to multiple gunshot wounds with a gunshot wound to the head, Turnage said.

The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department is currently looking for two persons of interest in what is now being called a homicide.
Chief Deputy Shane Tucker said the men have been identified as 20-year-old Chadrick Devon Daniel of 2766 Hwy. 13 South, Columbia and 20-year-old Gerrod Oneal Howard of 18 Morning Star Lane, Columbia.
They are wanted for questioning in the death of an as yet unidentified man found inside a car along Baxterville Road Wednesday just after noon. It was initially reported as a single vehicle accident, but further investigation into the case led law enforcement officials to determine the man in the driver seat died of a gunshot wound, Tucker said.
