Allie Mae Lacour, also known as Nee Roy, Mamie and MawMaw, of River Ridge, LA, passed away surrounded by her family on May 28, 2015 at the age of 93. She was

born on March 30, 1922, to Wiltz and Bertha Laborde Roy in Avoyelles Parish, LA, the youngest of 10 children.

Her family was her everything – she was a role model to all for how she cared for family. She cared for her parents, her husband, Kirby Paul Lacour, her son, Glen Paul Lacour, her siblings and cousins, and her Joe Boudreax through their joys, ailments, and passings.

She loved big family gatherings, being outside on a beautiful day, and just passing a good time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Wayne) Cannon and Bertha Page (Jim Croll); her grandchildren, Sherry Vitter, David (Katie) Cannon, Sr., Beth (Jack) Tuttle, and Kelly (Keith) Cazaux; her great-grandchildren, Bren Vitter, Chris Vitter, Leigh Silvestri (Paul Cuadrado), Alexis Cannon, David Cannon, Jr,. Blake Cazaux, Jeremy Cannon, and Julia Mae Tuttle; and her great-great-granddaughter, Lucy Bella Vitter.

While her family is extremely sad with her passing, we all have the peace knowing that her sisters have a seat ready for her in Heaven at the Bourree table.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA and the visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until mass time.
