Memorial Services for Lucia C. “Lucy” Davis, age 77 of Picayune, MS, who passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015, will be held Saturday, February, 28, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Magnolia Columns, 217 South Curran Avenue, Picayune, MS 39466.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Magnolia Columns.
Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Bro. Buddy Jorden will officiate the service.
A native of Arcata, CA, she was a Business Owner and Apartment Manager and was one of Jehovah’s Witness’s. Her parents, Frank Alves Sr. and Rose Martin Toledo Alves, were Portuguese immigrants from Terceira, Azores.
She was preceded in death by her father Frank Alves (1963) and by her mother Rose Toledo Alves (1975); her husband of 53 years, Buddy Davis (2006); her brothers, Albert (1999) and Hilary (1984); and her sister Eugenia (2011).
Survivors include her daughters, Karen Lucia Bolling and husband Bobby, Vicky A. Fauquier and husband Wayne, Julie B. Torres, and Tina N. Lane and husband Scott; her son, Fred Davis Jr. and wife Teena; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and her brothers, Frank G. Alves and Ernie Alves and wife Gloria.
