Raymond Deffes passed away after battling cancer on Tues, Dec. 16th 2014 at the age of 67.

He was born in New Orleans, La. on April 20th 1947 to the late Ernest Owen Deffes Sr. and Lena Lo Cicero. Also his late wife Cheryl Englehardt. Raymond has been a resident of Mississippi for 19 yearrs and survived by beloved wife Karen Deffes; daughters Bridget Deffes, Raechell Deffes Jones; Step-daughters Christy Moritz, Stacy Livengood; Grand-children Danielle Mc Grath, Ethan Dodge, Elijah Busbee, Ariana Jones, and 3 great grand-children; siblings Ernest Deffes Jr., Joseph Deffes, Carol Kennon and Frank Deffes. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. He was employed at Belle Chasse Naval Air Station, La. also Naval Support Activity, Algiers, La. He was a member of the IBEW Local 130 as well as a proud Freemason, and a member of the Boulevard Cruisers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, La. on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 10:00 A.M – 12:00 P.M.
