Robert Lyles Ferreira, 91, of Carriere, Miss. passed away Friday, July 12, 2013.

A private family memorial service will be held.

Robert was an electrician for 38 years, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, attended Resurrection Life and he loved to bowl. He was a member of the Picayune Lions Club and The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 130.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Irwin and Loretta Ferreira; and son, Robert L. Ferreira, Jr.

He is survived by: his wife, Betty Ferreira of Carriere; two sons, Brian D. (Nicki) Ferreira of Picayune, Robert R. Augustin of Metairie, La.; four daughters: Linda F. Mace of Covington, La., Patricia (Eric) Switzer of McKinney, Texas, Peggy A. (Glen) Miley of Carriere and Elizabeth Erickson; twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and special family members, Debra Brown and Stuart Brown.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Forgiven Ministries, 29 Ray Wheat Dr., Poplarville, MS 39470.
