Funeral services for Ora. D. Smith, 94, of Carriere, Miss., who passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013, will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 10 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be in Henleyfield Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Pastor Daniel Barber will officiate the service.

A native of Lamar County, Miss., she was a Homemaker and a member of Pinetucky Baptist Church. She was a dedicated Christian who loved her Pastor, Church and Church family. She loved all of her family and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Felix Daughdrill and Eliza Bond Daughdrill; her husband of 57 years, Clinton Smith; and her three brothers, Menace Daughdrill, Alton Daughdrill, and Gaston Daughdrill.

Survivors include: her son, Monty Hugh Smith and his wife, Pat; her three grandchildren, Angela and husband Sean, Chris and Becky; her four great-grandchildren, Lydia, Connor, Collin, and Kristen; her three sisters-in-law, Mary Ella Daughdrill, Vondell Burks, and Betty Smith and her husband Q.C.; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
