Funeral services will be held Friday, May 17, 2013 at 1 p.m. in Rose of Sharon Church of God in Christ for Mrs. Maggie Jackson, 53, of Picayune, who passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013 in Forrest General Hospital.

The Rev. Edwards Stubbs will officiate at the service.

Burial will be in Picayune Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday, May 17, 2013 at 12 noon.

A native of New Orleans, La., she was a member of the Little Rose Hill Baptist Church in New Orleans. She loved her family, was a devoted grandmother. She was truly a blessing to everyone.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Rossetta Jackson and Sidney Readeaux; and niece, Kim Van Buren.

Survivors include: a companion for 35 years, Frank Hall of Picayune; five daughters, Danielee Moye, Frankie Fowler, Tiffany Jackson, Donisha Jackson, and Brittany Jackson all of Picayune; two sons, Norris Jackson of Natchez, Miss., and Corey Jackson of New Orleans; one sister, Mary Van Buren (Larry) of Picayune; one step-sister, Jaucinca Readeaux of Picayune; four step-brothers, Lee, Michael, Melvin, and Ashton Readeaux all of Picayune; one uncle, James Donald of Picayune; and sixteen grandchildren, Taurez Newton, Shanorine Jackson, Natavia Jackson, A’Siya Gaston, Albrianna Gaston, Albert Gaston, Ashlynn Gaston, Ayden Gaston, Andrew Willis, Aniyah Willis, Eliujah Moye, Jeremiyah Moye, Tienary Jackson, Angdriano Jackson, Cyntarionne Thomas, and Diontrenise Ray; and nieces, Bobbie, Dionne, Crystal, Jessica Van Buren.
